About AppYard
Independent Australian marketplace for iPhone apps — based in Brisbane, not affiliated with Apple.
Who we are
Luke Ford is Founder and CEO of AppYard, built through LukeFord.Dev. Location: Brisbane, Australia.
We are preparing for Federal Court orders in Epic Games v Apple that allow rival stores for Australian Apple Accounts from early 2027, subject to appeal.
What we are building
Three pillars: emulators, business apps, and Australian apps. We review listings and refuse pirated software. Read the Australia explainer.
Independence from Apple
AppYard is separate from Apple Inc. The App Store keeps working; we do not use Apple logos or suggest endorsement.
